Irish MPs Visit Cambodia to Assess Climate Resilience Investments

A delegation of Irish parliamentarians visited Cambodia on August 4, 2026, to assess the impact of Irish investments in climate change adaptation across the country, according to Oxfam. During their visit, the delegation inspected community-managed solar irrigation systems in Banan and Sangke districts, Battambang province. The inspection revealed that when communities are empowered with sustainable infrastructure, the results are transformative. Farmers gain access to reliable water, their livelihoods are strengthened, and communities become more resilient to the impacts of climate change.
