Heavy Rains Disrupt Key Infrastructure Projects in Hung Yen

Heavy rains over the past few days in Hung Yen province have caused localized flooding, affecting the construction progress of several key transportation infrastructure projects. In response, the involved units are focusing on overcoming the weather's impact, mobilizing manpower and machinery to ensure the projects remain on schedule. In recent days, Hung Yen province has experienced heavy rainfall, with an average precipitation of 243.14mm across the area. This intense rain has led to localized flooding at some key transportation infrastructure sites, impacting construction timelines. For instance, on the DH 377 route passing through Luong Bang commune, the flooding has necessitated a temporary halt in construction at certain points. At the Song Mai culvert, the construction unit is maintaining the current state to drain water and prevent flooding for 233 hectares of rice fields. Other sections on the route have also required the removal of existing embankments to facilitate drainage. Furthermore, the road project connecting heritage sites along the Red River has also seen some sections inundated, preventing further construction.
