Indonesia to Revise Road Traffic Law, Targeting ODOL, Ride-hailing, and App Provider Taxes

The Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) and the government have begun revising the Road Traffic Law (UU LLAJ). Proposed amendments include stricter regulations on overloaded vehicles (ODOL), provisions for ride-hailing services (Ojol) and taxi-hailing services (Taksol), and the potential imposition of taxes on ride-hailing app providers.
