Kazakhstan and Russia Finalize $16.4 Billion Nuclear Power Plant Deal

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev have finalized a $16.4 billion deal for Kazakhstan's first modern nuclear power plant. Russia is expected to finance 85% of the project, with the first reactor targeting operation by early 2034.
