President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. maintains his trust in the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) despite reports linking individuals from Vice President Sara Duterte's security detail to an alleged assassination plot. The Presidential Palace stated it would identify those acting against the law to protect any single individual.
