Tour Bus Collides with Car, Plunges into Canal in Korat; Four Injured

NAKHON RATCHASIMA, Thailand – A tour bus carrying 41 passengers collided with a car before both vehicles lost control and plunged into a roadside drainage canal along Mittraphap Road in Pak Chong district, leaving four passengers injured. The accident occurred around 11:22 p.m. on July 28. Emergency teams, police officers from Klang Dong Police Station, and traffic officials rushed to the scene. Initial checks revealed that the tour bus had collided with a passenger car, after which both vehicles veered off the road and fell into a drainage ditch. Four female passengers on the tour bus sustained injuries. Two suffered moderate injuries, and two had minor injuries. Rescue teams provided first aid before transporting them to Pak Chong Nana Hospital for further treatment. The car was carrying two people, while the bus had 41 passengers onboard. Most passengers escaped unharmed, with only the four bus passengers requiring medical attention. The crash blocked one lane of the outbound carriageway, causing temporary traffic disruption. Officials worked to manage traffic and remove the damaged vehicles from the area. Police from Klang Dong Police Station are investigating the cause of the accident.
