Kampong Cham Province Reviews Progress on Combating Online Scams in 9-Month Meeting
Kampong Cham Province held a meeting to review the progress of its anti-online scam efforts from January to September 2026. The provincial governor emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and timely information sharing among relevant agencies to enhance the response to new scam tactics.
Kampong Cham Provincial Governor, H.E. Un Chantha, presided over a meeting on the afternoon of September 11, 2026, to review the progress of work combating online scams in the province. The meeting took place at the provincial hall's conference room and was attended by the provincial deputy governors, commanders from the three armed forces, municipal and district authorities, heads of relevant ministries and departments, and numerous public officials. H.E. Un Chantha stated that the meeting was convened to summarize and evaluate the results of combating online scam offenses that occurred during the first nine months of 2026. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and timely information exchange among competent authorities, armed forces, and related sectors to respond promptly to the evolving tactics of malicious individuals. The meeting also discussed challenges, solutions, and key work objectives aimed at effectively preventing, suppressing, and eradicating online scam offenses.
