Pertamina Denies Non-Subsidized Fuel Price Hike on September 21

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga ensures that the price of non-subsidized fuel or fuel will not change as of September 21, 2026. This confirmation also denied information on social media that said there was an adjustment to the price on that date. VP Corporate Communication PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Kitty Andhora said the price of non-subsidized fuel at Pertamina gas stations is still using the previously set price. "We ensure that as of September 21, 2026, there will be no change in the price of non-subsidized fuel at Pertamina gas stations," Kitty said in a statement in Jakarta as quoted by Antara, Monday, September 21. According to Kitty, the information regarding the price change that is circulating is not true. "Information regarding the adjustment of prices on that date is not true. We urge the public not to easily believe and disseminate unverified information," he said. Pertamina Patra Niaga stated that information regarding fuel prices was conveyed through the company's official channels. Although it did not change on September 21, a number of Pertamina's non-subsidized fuel prices have indeed increased since the beginning of September compared to August 2026. The products that have increased are Pertamax Turbo, Pertamax Green, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex. Meanwhile, the price of Pertamax remains. As of September 21, Pertalite is sold at Rp10,000 per liter and subsidized Solar at Rp6,800 per liter. Pertamax remains at Rp15,950 per liter. Pertamax Turbo is at Rp19,600 per liter, up from Rp18,300 in August. Pertamax Green is sold at Rp19,150 per liter, up from Rp16,600. Dexlite is Rp23,700 per liter from Rp19,700. Pertamina Dex is at Rp25,200 per liter, up from Rp21,150 in August. The price of non-subsidized fuel at Pertamina, Shell, and bp gas stations has been stable since the beginning of September after experiencing an increase compared to the previous month.
