Thai Forestry Dept. Evicts Temple from Forest Land, Reclaims 785 Rai

Thailand's Forestry Department, with a force of 200 personnel, has evicted the Buddhist temple Wat Rom Photharam from 785 rai (approximately 1.25 sq km) of land, citing illegal encroachment. Signs were posted demanding the temple vacate the area.
