Dak Lak Border Guard Honors 296 Outstanding Students

In Dak Lak Province, Vietnam, the Provincial Border Guard (Bộ đội Biên phòng tỉnh Đắk Lắk) honored 296 students, children of officers and professional soldiers, who achieved outstanding academic results during the 2025-2026 school year. These students excelled in various provincial, district, municipal, and school-level competitions and examinations. This recognition is part of the Border Guard's "civilian mobilization" (dân vận) efforts aimed at strengthening ties with the local community. The unit has also been involved in initiatives such as implementing a Cambodian language learning model, participating in commemorative events for war invalids and fallen soldiers, and organizing activities to express gratitude to families of those who served the revolution. Border guards in Vietnam are not solely focused on border security but also actively engage in community development and relationship building.
