Cambodia has achieved one of the fastest learning outcome improvements among participating education systems in the PISA (OECD Programme for International Student Assessment), with its average science score rising 52 points between 2018 and 2025. Mathematics and reading also saw significant gains, with notable progress among rural and disadvantaged students.
