Happy Water and Ketamine sellers arrested in front of GPS KTV

It has been learned from security forces and individuals close to them that those who came to sell Happy Water and Ketamine at GPS KTV, located near Wunji A Myae, Zeyar Myay Ward, Mawlamyine City, have been arrested. Around 9:30 PM on September 3rd, Swe Zin Myint, a 22-year-old individual walking from Shin Saw Pu Road, Myan Thayar Ward, Mawlamyine City towards the Baman Kalyana Wuntha monastery, was searched by the relevant authorities based on drug-related information. During the search, a white packet containing pink powder, believed to be Happy Water, with the text "RC" and weighing 7 grams, was found inside a gold-colored wallet with the text "Mivora" held in her right hand. Three such packets, along with three white zip-lock bags containing white powder, believed to be the drug Ketamine (K), were discovered and seized. During interrogation regarding the seized drugs, Swe Zin Myint confessed that the Happy Water and Ketamine were purchased from Ko Maung (alias Eya Htun), a resident of Myan Thayar Ward, Mawlamyine City, for 350,000 kyats. Consequently, Ko Maung (alias Eya Htun) was contacted through Swe Zin Myint and a meeting was arranged in front of GPS KTV under the pretext of wanting to purchase more drugs. An individual close to the security forces stated, "When Ko Maung (alias Eya Htun) arrived in front of GPS KTV on a motorcycle, the police attempted to stop him for inspection, but he fled on his motorcycle, leading to a pursuit and arrest. Ko Maung (alias Eya Htun) was stopped and apprehended on the Mawlamyine-Chaung Myae road, beyond the Wunji A Myae traffic light in Nga Thay Ward." Although no drugs were found on Ko Maung (alias Eya Htun) during the search, the same individual further stated that an iPhone 17 Pro Max, used to communicate with Swe Zin Myint, was found in his left hand, and over one million kyats, believed to be proceeds from drug sales, were discovered inside the motorcycle's storage box. In connection with this incident, Swe Zin Myint and Ko Maung (alias Eya Htun), who were found in possession of Happy Water and Ketamine for use and sale, have been charged and are being prosecuted at the Myan Thayar Township Police Station under Section 19(a)/20(a)/21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
