Fraudulent activities are occurring using the title of the Chancellor Monk, the close attendants announced. It has been observed that inappropriate actions such as soliciting donations by misusing the title of the Chancellor Monk, Dr. Nanda Malabhivamsa, or defrauding people of money by claiming to deliver donations to the Monk, are being carried out, according to the announcement. Regarding donations, the close attendants stated that this announcement is being made based on the direct instructions of the Monk, to inform the public that no donations should be solicited or participated in through intermediaries, except for donation matters for which the Monk has given direct permission after being approached by the donors.
