18 Chinese Vessels Monitored in West Philippine Sea in Past Week, Says AFP
The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) reported monitoring a total of 18 Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) and China Coast Guard (CCG) vessels in several West Philippine Sea (WPS) features over the past week. While this is a decrease from July's reported 48 vessels, tensions in the South China Sea persist.
