Chiang Mai–Chiang Rai River March Demands Action on Toxic Pollution

Local networks and villagers in northern Thailand have begun a march from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai to protest toxic contamination in five major rivers, including the Kok River. They are urging the government to elevate the transboundary pollution issue to a national priority and implement swift solutions.
