A magnitude 5.2 earthquake struck off Claveria, Masbate, Philippines. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported the epicenter 20 km west of Claveria at a depth of 10 km, originating from tectonic activity. Damage and aftershocks are expected.
