EASTW Partners with Govt Agency to Study Water Reuse for Sustainable Water Management

The Eastern Water Resources Development and Management Public Company Limited (EASTW) has initiated a joint study on "Water Reuse" in collaboration with the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT). This partnership aims to enhance sustainable water management for future generations. The collaboration focuses on evaluating technologies for treating and reusing wastewater within industrial estates, as well as investigating their implementation feasibility. This is expected to help meet the increasing demand for industrial water while reducing the strain on freshwater resources. As a primary water provider in Thailand's eastern region, EASTW holds responsibility for balancing water supply stability with environmental conservation, and its cooperation with IEAT will contribute to optimizing water usage in the industrial sector. In recent years, Thailand has faced increasing pressure on its water resources due to the impacts of climate change and growing demand driven by economic growth. Industrial zones, in particular, contend with significant water consumption, making the adoption of water reuse technologies crucial for sustainable industrial development.
