CPP Trains 'Mass Mobilization' Cadres in Battambang Province

The Cambodian People's Party (CPP) concluded a training course for cadres responsible for mass mobilization at the city, district, commune, and sangkat levels on September 19, 2026, at the Battambang Provincial Party Committee headquarters. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Sok Lu, a member of the CPP Central Committee, Chairman of the Battambang Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee. During the event, Mr. Sok Lu emphasized that the trained cadres are crucial propagandists for mobilizing the masses to support the Cambodian People's Party. He instructed the heads of the city and district mass mobilization committees to continue guiding the cadres to receive high-quality training. The two-day training course, organized by the Mass Mobilization Committee of the Battambang Provincial Party Committee, ran from September 17 to 18, 2026. Participants included mass mobilization cadres from all 14 cities and districts, and all 103 communes and sangkats within the province. Participants were attentive in listening and taking notes, and strictly adhered to internal discipline and regulations, contributing to the successful and meaningful evaluation of the training course. Through this course, all trainees gained a clearer understanding of the party's merits, stance, ideals, and its comprehensive views on assessing various situations and implementing leadership measures for protection and development. They enhanced their ability to act in the public opinion arena and manage mass emotions. They also gained deeper insight into the political program of the government of the 7th legislature of the National Assembly. Based on this, all levels of the party can increase their mass mobilization resources to contribute to fulfilling their duties with quality alongside working groups and city, district, commune, and sangkat party committees. This is particularly relevant in the current phase where local areas are implementing the distribution of invitation letters, preparing for voter list verification and registration for 2026, conducting biometric registration, and executing various action plans towards the 2027 elections for the 6th mandate of commune/sangkat councils, which requires collaborative effort and promotion for the clear advantage of the Cambodian People's Party.
