Thailand, Vietnam Ink MOU to Develop Aircraft Maintenance Hub at U-Tapao

Thailand and Vietnam have signed an MOU to develop an aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) hub at U-Tapao International Airport. This move is part of deepening their strategic partnership, with the Eastern Special Development Zone Policy Committee (EECO) and VietJet Group signing the agreement. Both nations also agreed to increase trade targets and enhance cooperation in combating cyber scams, illegal fishing, and in science and technology.
