Over 5,800 rice warehouses registered on My RO

According to statistics from the Consumer Affairs Department, there are over 5,800 rice warehouses registered on Myanmar Rice Online (My RO). It is said that there are 5,835 rice warehouses registered on My RO across the Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw, regions, and states from November 23, 2023, to July 31, 2026. Myanmar Rice Online, which allows for the systematic registration of rice warehouses and their storage status across the country using digital methods, was jointly launched and implemented by the Ministry of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, the Consumer Affairs Department, and the Myanmar Rice Federation on November 3, 2023. The Consumer Affairs Department has stated that Myanmar Rice Online is collecting warehouse registration through an online system, divided into four groups according to the specified warehouse area.
