President U Min Aung Hlaing Departs Thailand

President U Min Aung Hlaing, who was on an official visit to Thailand, departed from Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok on August 7, in the afternoon local time, by special aircraft. The delegation led by President U Min Aung Hlaing was seen off by high-ranking officials and responsible persons led by Thai Prime Minister Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, the Myanmar Ambassador to Thailand and his wife, the Military Attaché and his wife, and embassy staff from the Myanmar Embassy and the Military Attaché's Office. At the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, the Myanmar delegation led by President U Min Aung Hlaing arrived in Bangkok, Thailand, on August 6. During the visit, the President held discussions with the Prime Minister of Thailand, and a Myanmar-Thailand bilateral meeting was also held. In addition, he held discussions with the interim President of the Thai National Assembly and attended the Myanmar-Thailand Economic Forum. It is understood that during the visit, frank discussions and exchanges of views were held on matters related to further strengthening the existing friendly relations between Myanmar and Thailand, and on cooperation in economic, cultural, and all other sectors between the governments and peoples of the two countries.
