Vietnam Modernizes Highway Toll Collection with ETC Expansion
Vietnam is accelerating the adoption of Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) systems. From August 14, 2026, toll collection will officially commence on five projects along the eastern section of the North-South Expressway, aiming to enhance traffic flow and transparency. This initiative is part of Vietnam's infrastructure development and economic growth strategy under its one-party system.
