Thai Nguyen Province, located in northern Vietnam, held a conference on July 3rd to honor teachers and students who achieved outstanding results in national-level examinations and competitions during the 2025-2026 academic year. The event was attended by key provincial leaders, including Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and a member of the Central Party Committee, and Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. According to the Thai Nguyen Department of Education and Training, the past academic year saw 125 students from the province win awards in the National High School Excellent Student Competition. These awards included 3 First Prizes, 25 Second Prizes, 38 Third Prizes, and 59 Consolation Prizes. He urged the education sector to continue innovating and improving the quality of comprehensive education, developing specialized education, and accelerating digital transformation, the application of artificial intelligence, STEM education, foreign languages, and digital skills to cultivate a high-quality workforce for the province's development. "Students, I encourage you to continue nurturing your aspirations, relentlessly pursue learning and creativity, temper your character, and strive to become outstanding citizens who contribute to the development of Thai Nguyen and the nation," Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan told the students. On this occasion, the organizing committee presented Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training to students who won First, Second, and Third Prizes in the National High School Excellent Student Competition. Awards were also given to students who achieved success in the national science and technology research competition and the VIII "Students and Pupils with Startup Ideas" competition in 2026. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded prizes to 125 students and 58 teachers whose students won awards in the National High School Excellent Student Competition, and to 4 students and 2 teachers whose students won awards in the national science and technology research competition for the 2025-2026 academic year.
