Security and stability are paramount in the reconstruction efforts within Chin State, and cooperation is needed to maintain peace in one's own community, said Deputy Minister U Myo Myint of the Ministry of Construction. Deputy Minister U Myo Myint of the Ministry of Construction made these remarks during a coordination meeting on June 28 with members of the Reconstruction and Rebuilding Committee within Chin State, departmental officials, religious leaders, local dignitaries, and members of the Reconstruction and Rebuilding Committee to carry out reconstruction and rebuilding activities within Chin State. When the Deputy Minister and his delegation met with religious leaders, pastors, and clergy in Tiddim town to carry out reconstruction and rebuilding activities within Chin State, the Deputy Minister stated that security and stability are paramount in reconstruction efforts, that cooperation is needed to maintain peace in one's own community, and urged continuous efforts for development. Following this, the Deputy Minister and his delegation continued to hold a coordination meeting with local dignitaries, departmental officials, and members of the Reconstruction and Rebuilding Committee. The Chairman and members of the local dignitaries' association presented their respective needs. In response to the presentations, the Deputy Minister coordinated with departmental officials and committee members, urging them to cooperate in the reconstruction and rebuilding efforts, to implement them in a timely manner, and emphasized that regional stability and peace are paramount for regional development, and that local dignitaries and departmental officials should strive for regional stability, peace, and development. Afterwards, the Deputy Minister and his delegation visited the Tiddim Township Electrical Engineer's Office and inspected the 300 KVA diesel power plant supplying electricity to Tiddim town. It was learned that Tiddim town is being supplied with electricity from the Zalwee Hydropower Station's 200 KW (2 units) totaling 240 KW and the 300 KVA diesel power plant's 180 KW.
