The two leaders noted with pleasure at the fact that Viet Nam and South Korea have become top partners in terms of economy, trade, and investment. Both sides pledged to double efforts to realize the trade goals of US$100 billion in 2026 and US$150 billion by 2030 in a balanced and substantive manner. The two leaders agreed to boost cooperation in science and technology, facilitate Viet Nam's participation in South Korea's mega semiconductor and artificial intelligence projects. Tran suggested South Korea share its experience in national development, management and development of international financial centers, step up high-quality manpower import, and train high-tech experts for Viet Nam. Prime Minister Han affirmed South Korea will boost cooperation with Viet Nam in such fields like high technology and artificial intelligence. She also promised to improve working environment and facilitate entry visa for Vietnamese. Han committed to active support for Viet Nam to successfully host the APEC Year 2027.
