A new business idea program called “Tomorrow Boss” has been launched to support Myanmar’s young entrepreneurs. The initiative is a joint effort between China’s Yunnan International Communication Center (YICC) and Myanmar’s Shwe Than Lwin Company. The program aims to nurture future business leaders while encouraging innovation among Myanmar’s youth, and building bridges between governments, private businesses, and financial institutions. Dr. Zaw Oo, Advisor, Myanmar‑China Investment and Trade Promotion Association (MCITP) said "This program will nurture youth who want to innovate and create businesses, especially during this time of economic challenges. The initiative will not only support government‑to‑government cooperation but also encourage collaboration among private companies and young startup founders. The ideas shared in the competition will benefit the whole country, not just the winners." The Tomorrow Boss Business Idea Competition will focus on three main values, "Innovation, Execution & Leadership and Sustainability & Growth". The contest will run in six stages, starting from auditions and continuing until the final winners are selected. The applicants can register for the competition via email address: [email protected]. It will also be broadcast nationwide on Channel 9 Free‑to‑Air, and streamed on digital platforms including Skynet App, Channel 9 YouTube, and TikTok.
