Cambodia: Landmine and ERW Casualties Surge 16.6% in First Half of 2026

Cambodia has reported a 16.6% increase in casualties from landmines and explosive remnants of war (ERW) in the first half of 2026, with 28 victims compared to 24 in the same period last year. Of the total, 15 people died, 7 were injured, and 6 were permanently disabled. Since 1979, the cumulative toll has reached 19,852 deaths and 45,301 injured or disabled.
