The Philippine National Police (PNP) has launched an investigation into a PNP officer apprehended for driving an unlicensed police vehicle along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City. "Any violation or administrative lapse established by the investigation shall be addressed in accordance with existing rules and due process," PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. stated yesterday. A photograph of the unlicensed police car, which was reportedly assigned to the Police Security and Protection Group, was circulated online.
