
Vietnam to Increase Social Insurance Contributions from July 1
Vietnam announced an increase in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance contributions for many worker groups, including civil servants, public sector employees, and military personnel, effective July 1. This will also raise the burden for some self-employed individuals and family insurance subscribers. Conversely, contribution rates to the pension and survivorship fund, as well as health insurance benefits, are expected to rise in tandem.
