Mekolor Chairman Arrested for Spreading False Information
Vo Xuan Truong, chairman of Mekolor Joint Stock Company, who previously declared intentions to invest $100 billion in a North-South high-speed railway, has been arrested in Can Tho City, Vietnam, on charges of spreading false information. The company claimed a €10 billion transfer from a German partner, which the bank denied, warning of potential fraud.
