Uniqlo to Open 3 New Stores in Philippines

Japanese retail giant Uniqlo is set to open three new stores in the Philippines as part of its expansion strategy. The company announced that it will open a store in SM City Zamboanga on September 25, marking its eighth store in Mindanao. Additionally, a new Uniqlo store is slated to open at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 in November, aiming to provide travelers with access to LifeWear essentials within the departure area. Another store opening is planned for SM City Nuvali in Laguna in November. Beyond new store openings, Uniqlo is also upgrading existing locations. Retail spaces in SM City Marikina and SM City Cabanatuan are being expanded. The Cabanatuan store will also introduce self-checkout counters to enhance the customer shopping experience. In Mindanao, the Uniqlo store in SM City General Santos is set to reopen to support the community's recovery following a magnitude 7.8 earthquake in June. These store openings and upgrades are part of Uniqlo's ongoing celebration of the 70th anniversary of Philippines-Japan friendship. "As Uniqlo continues to grow across the country, the brand remains focused on bringing LifeWear closer to more Filipinos through strategically located stores and apparel designed to meet the evolving needs of everyday life," the company stated.
