The final round of the Thai Jet Ski Championship, 'GP of Samut Sakhon 2026,' was held in Samut Sakhon province, showcasing remarkable performances by young athletes. Notably, in the junior categories, some riders secured undefeated seasons, highlighting emerging talents poised to lead Thailand's jet ski future.
The "Toyota – WGP#1 Waterjet Pro Tour Thailand 2026," also known as "GP of Samut Sakhon 2026," concluded its thrilling races on the waters of CSC Water Sports near Phanthai Norasing Shrine in Samut Sakhon province, from September 10-13, 2026. The event saw intense competition, with young talents particularly shining and securing dominant victories. In the 1-LAP SLALOM JUNIOR 8-13 Yrs. (SEADOO SPARK STANDARD) category, "Nong Plawan" Techin Homsap (#77) from G-FORCE POWERSPORTS PATTAYA, delivered a masterful performance with times of 1:24.93 and 1:33.33, clinching the Samut Sakhon championship. This victory marked his fourth consecutive undefeated win of the season, securing the Thai national championship title without a single loss. Similarly, in the 1-LAP SLALOM JUNIOR 8-13 Yrs. (SEADOO SKI 1100 STOCK), "Nong Captain" Phubodin Sukprasert (#525) from T244RACINGSCHOOLD2MOTORSPORT, rode to a decisive win with times of 1:20.85 and 1:18.97. He achieved a "double championship," winning both the Samut Sakhon round and the 2026 Thai national championship with a perfect record across all four races. For the women's junior division, 1-LAP SLALOM JUNIOR 8-13 Yrs. WOMEN (SEADOO SKI 1100 STOCK), "Nong Bambi" Panisara Thawiphaat (#23) from PUSAN SEADOO JET SKI TEAM NAKHONPATHOM, stood unchallenged. She recorded best times of 1:17.63 and 1:26.13, earning a perfect 40 points to win the Samut Sakhon round and secure the 2026 Thai national championship title with a total of 233 accumulated points. The DRAG RACE – SKI 1100 STOCK category saw a historical showdown between "King of Standing Boat" Anon Hongklang (#T19) from BANGKOK CLUB by FAST POWERSPORT THAILAND and "Queen of Standing Boat" Namfon Kamonwan Noenghong (#T159) from JET SKI FOR RENT BY JOMPOL. In a thrilling close finish, Noenghong's sharp acceleration edged out her rival for the victory. The final round of the "Toyota – WGP#1 Waterjet Pro Tour Thailand 2026" not only stimulated the economy of Samut Sakhon and its surrounding areas but also promoted and developed jet ski sports, fostering wider recognition and excellence.
