It is known that the deceased were men in their 50s and 60s. Anya Myay Civil Society Organization – Myaing has released that the two civilians from Kan Net village were tortured and killed by the military junta, and their bodies were buried to conceal them. They were civilians who were taking refuge in the forests, and one of them was a person who made a living by raising and herding cattle. Currently, the column is advancing throughout the southern part of Myaing Township. It was also reported that houses in Kan Net village and Lak Khut Pin village were set on fire and destroyed on the night of July 13, and houses in villages such as Nyaung Gyi Kone, Koin Taw Ma, and Than Gyi Taw were also set on fire and destroyed on the morning of July 15. Although the detailed list of houses destroyed by fire is not yet known, it is estimated that a total of about 50 houses were set on fire and destroyed, according to the statement. "We need pillars, wood, and bamboo for those whose houses were burned down to rebuild their shelters. For the internally displaced people who are taking emergency refuge, food, shelter, medicine, and drinking water will be the main necessities," said the responsible person.
