Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Meets Mongolian Prime Minister, Boosting Bilateral Ties

During his official visit to Mongolia, on the afternoon of September 10, at the State Palace in the capital Ulaanbaatar, Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man held a meeting with Prime Minister of Mongolia Nyam-Osor Uchral. The meeting was aimed at deepening the traditional friendly relations and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, with a particular focus on strengthening collaboration in the economic, trade, and investment sectors. Vietnam, under its one-party system, has achieved economic growth and is increasing its regional influence. Its foreign policy strategy involves maintaining a complex relationship with China while developing balanced relations with ASEAN countries and other major powers. Strengthening ties with Mongolia can be seen as part of this broader foreign policy. Chairman Man also met with members of the Mongolia-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians' Group, exchanging views on promoting mutual understanding through parliamentary diplomacy. He also highlighted the role of the Vietnamese community residing in Mongolia as a bridge for bilateral relations, highly valuing their contribution. This visit is understood to demonstrate Vietnam's intention to expand its international partnerships and enhance economic and strategic cooperation.
