Thailand Discusses Public Transport and Integrated Ticketing System with South Korea

Thai Minister of Transport, Sripong, held discussions with South Korean government officials regarding the promotion of public transport systems and the implementation of a common ticketing (integrated fare system) in Thailand. This meeting was part of efforts to modernize transportation infrastructure and enhance convenience in Thailand's urban areas. The introduction of a common ticketing system is expected to facilitate transfers between different modes of transport, reduce passenger burdens, and improve the efficiency of the transportation system.
