Two Chinese Women Arrested in Thailand for Visa and Work Permit Violations

Authorities reported that one of the arrested women allegedly lacked a work permit, while the other was suspected of engaging in work different from that authorized by her visa. Both individuals were reportedly contracted to create promotional content for applications originating from China. This operation is seen as part of the Thai authorities' ongoing efforts to crack down on illegal employment and violations of visa and work permit regulations. Chonburi is known as one of the provinces in Thailand with a high influx of foreign workers, and authorities are expected to continue intensifying similar enforcement measures.
