Local authorities are monitoring for potential river overflows and landslides, particularly advising residents in low-lying areas and along riverbanks to prepare for possible evacuation to safer locations. Officials from the Irrigation Department announced that the water level of the Ping River, a major waterway, is currently within its normal range.
