Poipet City Flooded by Heavy Rains and Water from Thailand, 850 Families Evacuated

Widespread flooding has occurred in Poipet City, Banteay Meanchey Province, Cambodia, due to heavy rainfall and water flowing from Thailand. As of the afternoon of September 26, 2026, 850 families have been evacuated to safe higher ground. Roads, schools, and homes are submerged, with transportation cut off in some areas.
