Natsintaya Monastery's Chief Monk Passes Away

It has been learned that the chief monk of Natsintaya Monastery, Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika Dhaja Dr. Bhaddanta Panyateza, who resided at the Deguadaha Sabbasiddhi Natsintaya Monastery in Thanlyin Township, Yangon Region, passed away at approximately 1:56 AM on the morning of September 13th at Kansayar Hospital in Yangon while receiving medical treatment. At the time of his passing, the venerable monk was 76 years old and had been a monk for 56 years. It is understood that the monk's body has been transported from the hospital to the monastery. Details regarding the final funeral ceremony for the venerable monk have not yet been released.
