The Prime Minister's response came during his participation in the 30th-anniversary celebration of the Organization for Children's Smiles (PSE) in Meanchey District, Phnom Penh. Speaking from the podium, the Prime Minister highlighted the crucial role of civil society organizations as good partners of the government, citing PSE as an example that has assisted many impoverished and vulnerable children. "For such partners, the government does not restrict their rights; rather, we encourage them to further develop because they are genuinely working," he stated. PSE has provided assistance to approximately 7,000 impoverished and vulnerable children, offering them shelter, food, general education, and vocational training. Over the past 30 years, PSE has contributed alongside the Cambodian government to poverty reduction and human resource development by providing quality vocational training, offering new opportunities for tens of thousands of Cambodian children and youth to have a future.
