Pattaya City is accelerating its efforts to formulate a three-year manpower plan and an employee development plan for fiscal years 2027-2029. On September 11th, the relevant committee, chaired by Deputy Mayor Wuthisak Rermkijakarn, convened its second meeting in Room 242 at Pattaya City Hall. Department heads, led by Mr. Theerasak Jatupong, participated in the meeting to discuss the specific details of the plans. The initiative aims to systematically advance personnel deployment and employee competency development, which are essential for Pattaya City to continue providing high-quality administrative services in the future. It is presumed that this includes securing personnel based on forecasts of future administrative demand and expanding training programs to support the skill enhancement of existing staff and the acquisition of new expertise. In Thailand's local administrative bodies, planned human resource development is an urgent issue to cope with rapid urbanization and socioeconomic changes, and Pattaya City is no exception. This meeting marks a crucial step in the initial planning phase, laying the groundwork for effective plan formulation by deepening inter-departmental cooperation. The formulated plans are expected to contribute to Pattaya City's sustainable development and the improvement of citizen services.
