Hun Many Announces New Leadership for Koh Kong Youth Federation

The President of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC), H.E. Hun Many, presided over a ceremony on the morning of July 20, 2026, to announce the appointment of the honorary president and chairman of the Koh Kong Provincial Youth Federation. Also attending the ceremony were members of the Standing Committee, members of the Central Committee, and approximately 350 members. At the beginning of the program, Mr. Cheng Sovannnda, Acting Deputy Chairman of the Koh Kong Provincial Youth Federation, presented a summary report on the activities of the leaders and members of the Koh Kong Provincial Youth Federation that have been achieved so far, in accordance with the directives of H.E. Hun Many, President of the UYFC. Concurrently, H.E. Hun Many expressed his deep admiration and gratitude to the leaders and all members of the Koh Kong Provincial Youth Federation for upholding the spirit of sacrifice and actively participating in volunteer activities and humanitarian work in line with the roadmap and objectives of the UYFC. According to the decision of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee on the appointment of the honorary president and chairman of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia, which was read by Mr. Heng Soknang, member of the Standing Committee and Deputy Secretary-General, Mrs. Mithona Phouthong was appointed as Honorary President, and Mrs. Chea Vaa was appointed as Chairman of the Koh Kong Provincial Youth Federation. After receiving her appointment, Mrs. Chea Vaa pledged to diligently implement the statutes, internal regulations, and decisions of the UYFC in accordance with the action plan and to strive to the best of her ability to lead the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia, Koh Kong Provincial Branch, to further development and success in the future.
