Cambodia-Thailand Border Forces Receive Supplies to Boost Morale
Cambodian Ministry of Labour officials visited border forces stationed along the Cambodia-Thailand frontier in Preah Vihear province, donating food and funds. The gesture aims to support the livelihoods and boost the morale of soldiers and police defending the border.
On August 31, 2026, Mr. Jitt Kunthol, Director General of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, H.E. Mang Sineth, Governor of Preah Sihanouk Province, and H.E. Kim Rithy, Governor of Preah Vihear Province, visited the border forces stationed along the Cambodia-Thailand border in Preah Vihear Province, specifically in the frontline area of the Prasat Vihear sector. The donation, consisting of food and funds from Mrs. Boon Sangly (Jau Jau, Neak Uknhar, Prito Maha Upasika, Domnyannana Vibotna) and Mr. Lin Kree (Maha Upasika), was presented to the armed forces and police personnel serving there. This aid is intended to help ease the living conditions and serve as a morale booster for the forces undertaking the crucial task of defending territorial integrity. During the event, Major General Miat Samuth, Commander of the 128th Intervention Division, expressed his profound gratitude to leaders at all levels and philanthropists for their constant attention and support to the frontline forces, particularly through the provision of food, essential goods, and financial assistance. Mr. Jitt Kunthol conveyed greetings and regards from the rear areas to all the forces defending the nation's borders. He expressed full support for the spirit of sacrifice and diligent efforts of all armed forces and police personnel in fulfilling their duties, and affirmed confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Hun Sen in resolving various challenges peacefully. The Director General and his delegation offered their blessings for good health, strength, safety, and success in all their duties to all officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, and police personnel in their service to the nation and its people.
