Vietnam Considers Law Amendments to Bolster Disaster Prevention and Response

Natural disasters in Vietnam between 2020-2025 have caused increasingly severe damage, with an average of over 300 deaths and economic losses exceeding VND45 trillion (USD1.7 billion) annually. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is advocating for law amendments to enhance disaster prevention and response capabilities.
