BAGUIO CITY — Fast-moving and muddy floodwaters surged across the Luneta–Loacan Proper Junction road in Itogon, Benguet, on Thursday, leaving the road impassable as the Antamok River swelled from days of rain. Photos released by the Barangay Loacan Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (BDRRMC) showed brown, debris-laden water rushing over the roadway and surrounding areas. The situation has disrupted local transportation and raised concerns about the accessibility of communities in the affected area.
