The Philippine Senate has unveiled its new schedule for the coming weeks as it juggles the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte, deliberations for the 2027 budget, and its legislative agenda. Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri announced the agreed-upon schedule on Monday during an all-senators caucus. In an art card posted on Facebook, Zubiri noted that the following schedule was agreed upon in an all-senators caucus: “As Majority Leader, it is our responsibility to ensure that the work in the Senate runs smoothly and without unnecessary delays. We have a lot of work to do, pero laban lang. Kung kailangang 24/7 tayong magtrabaho, gagawin natin,” Zubiri said.
