Train Collides with Tanker Truck at Unprotected Crossing in Virginia

On May 14, a train collided with a waste tanker truck at a railroad crossing in Chesapeake, Virginia. While the crossing had a stop sign, it lacked automatic gates, and preliminary investigations suggest the driver failed to stop. The truck driver sustained serious injuries, but no one on the train was harmed.
