Cambodia is set to host the 'Cambodia Expo Series 2026', an international trade and business expo, from August 26-28, 2026, at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh. The event is expected to feature over 250 exhibition booths from 15 countries. Mr. Vinny, Chairman of the Organizing Committee and Managing Director of VEAS Company, stated during a press conference on July 29 that the Cambodia Expo Series 2026 is one of the largest international exhibition and conference series in Cambodia. It will encompass nine international events covering agriculture, livestock, aquaculture, food and beverages, health, pharmaceuticals, laboratories, beauty, wellness, pet products, and consumer goods. The expo anticipates gathering more than 250 companies, brands, and products from 15 countries and regions across an exhibition area of approximately 3,600 square meters at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh. The event also expects to welcome over 5,000 business visitors, including buyers, importers, distributors, retailers, investors, representatives from state institutions, professional associations, development organizations, and experts from various industrial sectors. During the three-day event, participants will have the opportunity to explore new products, technologies, and innovations, as well as engage in direct discussions with leading manufacturing and supply companies from both within and outside the country. In addition to the exhibition, the event will feature various programs designed to add value for participants, including professional conferences and workshops, industry knowledge and trend sharing forums, new product and technology showcases, business matching programs, and business networking events. Mr. Samheng Bora, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Commerce, stated that the Cambodia Expo Series 2026 serves as a crucial bridge connecting local producers, farmers, and manufacturing companies directly to international supply chains, modern technologies, and new investment opportunities. It also functions as a platform for knowledge exchange, partnership building, and the promotion of international cooperation, contributing to Cambodia's sustainable economic development and market connectivity to the region and the world. The Secretary of State encouraged participants to leverage platforms like the 'Cambodia Expo Series' to exchange traditional ideas, gain significant insights, and forge alliances that will propel their enterprises to new heights. He added that the Ministry of Commerce pledges strong support for the private sector, utilizing policy tools such as the Law on Investment and incentives, Qualified Investment Projects (QIPs), and skills development funds to foster a dynamic and conducive business ecosystem, while actively protecting Cambodia's commercial interests in the global market. He further stated, "Together, we have the collective power to build a more competitive, resilient, and prosperous Cambodia – a nation admired not only for its rapid economic recovery but for the quality, innovation, and integrity of its enterprises. As we look to the horizon, let us step forward to strengthen Cambodia's position in the global economy, create lasting prosperity for our people, and ensure that the fruits of our growth are equitably shared across the entire society."
