Prasat Ballangk District Governor Orders Strengthened Security and Order

The Governor of Prasat Ballangk District in Kampong Thom Province, Mr. Kong Samath, who also heads the district's administrative command, issued directives to local authorities and security forces to strengthen the maintenance of security and order for the citizens within the locality. This was stated during a meeting of the district's administrative command held on July 31, which was attended by commune authorities, armed forces, and relevant officials. Mr. Samath specified that security, public order, and social safety tasks include combating online gambling and scams, strengthening the investigation, prevention, and suppression of all forms of electronic gambling activities within the district, increasing patrols and taking firm measures against delinquent youths who cause social insecurity, continuing to promote education, disseminate information, and crack down on drug trafficking and use, and implementing the "Safe Village-Commune-District" policy through close cooperation between authorities and citizens to ensure the peace of all residents in the district. He also emphasized the importance of paying close attention to the livelihoods of farmers, urging all commune authorities to regularly monitor and assess the living conditions of the people. This is to understand challenges, especially water shortages or damage from pests, enabling timely and effective interventions to prevent negative impacts on the agricultural yields of farmers during the rainy season. The governor further stated that all officials must serve as good role models and expressed his appreciation and high evaluation for the diligent efforts of all levels of teams who have been actively working for the benefit of the people.
