Cambodia's Institute of Economics and Finance Holds Board Meeting to Review Mid-Term Strategy and Budget Proposals

The Institute of Economics and Finance held its 3rd Board of Directors meeting for its 2nd mandate on August 4, 2026, at the Institute's premises. The meeting was chaired by H.E. Dr. Hang Seihab, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Economics and Finance. The meeting was attended by Excellencies, Lords, Board members, and the budget controller of the Institute of Economics and Finance. The meeting reviewed and discussed four main agendas: 1. The mid-year performance report for 2026 and the direction for continued implementation of the Institute of Economics and Finance. 2. Review and approval of the draft strategic plan for 2027-2029 and the draft budget package for 2027. 3. Review and approval of the draft Prakas on training service fees at the Institute of Economics and Finance. 4. Miscellaneous. The 3rd Board of Directors meeting of the 2nd mandate proceeded smoothly and achieved fruitful results as expected. Under the high guidance of H.E. Dr. Hang Seihab, Chairman of the Board of Directors, the Institute of Economics and Finance will continue to strive to enhance the quality of training and develop the capacity of civil servants more effectively, aiming to contribute to the success of the Royal Government of Cambodia's public financial management reform as expected.
